The dealership was established by George Brown Jr. in 1932 in the downtown area of Gainesville. The business moved to its present location at 1608 W. Highway 82 in 1976 and is owned and operated by Charles D. Brown.

Brown Motor Company offers a wide variety of products including Chevrolet, Buick, Pontiac, GMC trucks, and a wide variety of program cars and used cars and trucks. The Sales staff at Brown Motor Company is anxious to help customers with all automotive selection and financing.
